A New Era for Türkiye Handball: Federation Unveils Modern Facility in Istanbul
The Türkiye Handball Federation continues to take significant steps toward institutional development and infrastructure expansion under the leadership of President Mesut Çebi, adding another state-of-the-art facility to the sport.
In an official statement published on the federation’s website, it was announced that a new handball complex located within the Beykoz Sports Forest in Istanbul has been allocated to the federation. This development marks another milestone in strengthening the foundation of handball in Türkiye.
The facility features a total indoor area of 7,500 square meters and includes a four-sided tribune with a seating capacity of 1,400 spectators. In addition, the complex is equipped with a mini handball court, fitness center, broadcasting and audio rooms, referee and locker rooms, medical facilities, a conference hall, and cafeteria areas, offering comprehensive support for both athletes and officials.
The federation emphasized its satisfaction in bringing this project to life in cooperation with the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, highlighting its importance for the development of young talents and the future of handball in the country.
With this investment, Türkiye handball continues to build a stronger and more sustainable infrastructure, aiming to elevate the sport at both national and international levels.
