One of the most accomplished handball players ever to compete in Türkiye, Cedric Sorhaindo, will bid farewell to his playing career tomorrow while wearing the Beşiktaş jersey for the final time.
Having already secured the 2025–26 Ardventure Turkish Men's Handball Super League title, Beşiktaş will host Bursa Nilüfer Belediyespor in its final match of the season on Saturday at Süleyman Seba Sports Hall in Istanbul. The encounter will carry special significance not only for Turkish handball but also for the European and global handball community.
Sorhaindo, one of the most decorated players of his generation, has enjoyed an extraordinary career highlighted by Olympic, World Championship and European Championship titles with the French national team, along with numerous club achievements. The veteran line player will step onto the court for the last time as an active professional athlete, bringing an end to a remarkable journey in the sport.
Ahead of his farewell appearance, Beşiktaş shared an emotional tribute to the French star under the headline "Cedric Sorhaindo Takes to the Court for the Last Time Tomorrow."
